Stay on rather recents posts (say 1 year) as information is more dense and good old information is reproduced there. Do not hesitate running searches like "Men-Nefer", "roadblock", etc. Type "Links" in the Search below Game Help, it will show you at once the "Links to Beginners" thread by Memsurs. I know many of you are rather advanced players and this probably seems a bit elementary, but its just driving me nuts. I'm not having a problem getting food to the bazaars. (Granted the pottery SY is pretty far away from my housing block) I even put in an extra bazaar, hoping that would help. The message is to the effect the local bazaar is not consistent in keeping it stocked. But somehow this concept still escapes me.Īlso, I'm having a problem with some of my Homesteads, Apartments and Residences dropping down a level because they can't get a steady supply of either beer or pottery. I've read (a couple of times) many of the posts referenced "Links for New Players" thread.
This is the first time I'm so spread out, because of the various industries. (I wonder how?) Maybe because my cities were so compact previously. Up to this point I managed to win the scenarios w/o learning this. But if I don't put up road blocks then my "municipal workers" seem to wander all over the place, out of the housing block and down the roads to the industrial areas. I discovered the hard way that labor recruiters won't go past a road block into a housing block. I'm a bit confused about the road blocks, and how to use them effecitvely. And right now at work I'm driviing myself nuts over the city problems I was having last night, so here I am ) I'm up to the Men-Nefer scenario.
I've been playing Pharaoh for all of three days now! (yes, I'm totally hooked, I've averaged about 3 hrs sleep/night.
